THE OLD MAN AND THE LAND

The Old Man and the Land marks the feature debut of director Nicholas Parish. Starring Rory Kinnear and Emily Beecham, this drama shot over several years unfolds on a deteriorating farm deep in the English countryside. At its heart is an aging farmer whose strength is fading, yet whose devotion to his land remains unshaken. His children are ill-suited to inherit it. His daughter knows the work but hesitates at the sacrifices it demands, while his son sees the farm as real-estate.
